Epoxy is used to repair gouges or delamination that occurs on a ski/snowboards top sheet
This will protect and seal the ski/snowboard so moisture doesn't intrude the core of the equipment
P-Tex is used to repair gouges that occur on the base of a ski/snowboard
This is a low molecular weight polyethylene which is similar to the material that makes up the base of a ski/snowboard
It's used on the base instead of using epoxy since it is more flexible and can hold wax
On average turnover time for services is 4 days; however, some services may take up to 10 days depending on what service needs to be done, the possibility of us having to order parts, and how many ongoing services we have
Plan ahead and bring your equipment in early so you don't have to worry about it not being done before your next trip to the hill
Service work is completed in the order it is received
There is a chance that the P-tex or Epoxy will be rejected and won't hold on your equipment
If the gouge is on or near the edge of the ski we may not be able to repair it
If damage to your equipment is severe our service manager will examine it to see if it's too damaged to repair
If any equipment requires more work than originally quoted we will call you and notify you of the new quoted price (We will not do the repair without the customers approval)
We are not responsible for equipment left for over 60 days
If service is left unpaid, your equipment won't be released to you
P-tex repairs must be done in conjunction with the comprehensive or deluxe tune since the repair is done to the base of the ski (For more information about comprehensive and deluxe tunes check out our Tune Packages page)
It is the customers responsibility to check if their equipment is serviced to their liking before you leave the store (We won't reservice equipment for free after it's taken out of the store)
